With Alonso's design, you can show school spirit, showcase student art, and slow the spread of COVID-19. Chantal Kooiman and Kaneesha Govil won runner-up prizes for their contribution to the mask design contest. Congratulations to all winners and participants of the mask design contest, and stay safe this semester. WordPress also held an icon design contest, challenging designers to design a set of icons for the new interface, viewable here. The Associated Student Government and Graduate Professional Student Congress hosted a mask design contest open to all students. Participants submitted designs on HogSync, and the top designs were voted on over social media. After voting concluded on the top three designs, Salma Alonso won first place. Her design is available for purchase until 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at this link. Alonso is a senior graphic design student at the University of Arkansas and has many of her designs available for viewing on her website.

As we continue into the new year, it is important to continue with CDC recommendations of social distancing, avoiding large gatherings, and wearing a facial covering. With Alonso's design, you can show school spirit, showcase student art, and slow the spread of COVID-19.
